The common linnets are a project by Ilse DeLange, Ilse wanted to make a country style album

besides here solo carrier, and also wanted be a part of a band.

Together with Waylon, JB Meijers, Rob Crosbe, Mathew Crosbe and Jake Etheridge and some other artist they made this album

Because Ilse DeLange and Waylon were separately ask to join the Eurovision song contest Festival 2014 in Copenhagen, they decided to join as The Common Linnets.

After the Eurovision song contest, Waylon decided that he would go work on his solo album and left the group.

Now Ilse DeLange and the other artist who worked on the album, are forming The Common Linnets.
